C is the interval between the Full Moon to Last Quarter: This is a very good time for planting root crops, bulbs, biennials and perennials.
D is between the Last Quarter to New Moon: Do not plant.
As a general rule the period from New Moon to Full Moon is a good period to sow seeds, transplant plants, bud and graft. The period from Full Moon to New Moon is the best time to plow, cultivate, weed and reap.
